Change is in the air here at Peerless Coffee & Tea Company as we celebrate our 80th Anniversary. We have a brand new logo created just for us by a top graphic designer. This gorgeous image calls to mind our unique Bay Area history, depicting the arrival of a ship into the Port of Oakland carrying coffee beans from around the world.

To go along with our new look, George Vukasin, Jr., has created a special 80th Anniversary coffee blend just for you. By selecting and combining organic beans from four award winning estates in Mexico, Peru, Sumatra and Ethiopia and by bringing them to Italian roasted perfection we have created a wonderful medium dark roast with a medium light body that is already a hit in our retail store.

To fully appreciate just what it means to run a successful business for 80 years, one must gain a sense of the passage of time. I have spent years gathering together an extensive collection of rare coffee and tea memorabilia and house them in our very own Peerless Museum. On a visit to the museum, you will take a trip down memory lane while perusing shelf after shelf of old fashioned coffee grinders, tins and tea bins from the 80 years that Peerless has been in business. You will also learn something of the Vukasin family history, and how John Vukasin's dream of providing perfectly roasted coffee beans to Bay Area business has become a reality. Also, not to be missed, the crown jewel of the Museum's collection: Our very own 1922 Model T Ford Depot Hack, a lovingly restored antique that serves as a continuing reminder of the Peerless Coffee Company & Tea heritage.
